Ovation Program

The Ovation Program offers a variety of ways to recognize one another. Together we can build a positive and healthy culture, the OU Health Way.

The Ovation platform is the place to start. Here you’ll find the following ways to give and receive recognition:

eGreetings

Send an eGreeting to any team member at any time. You can choose from a variety of eGreeting cards to:

  • Welcome a new employee
  • Congratulate someone for a great idea or accomplishment
  • Express appreciation for great teamwork
  • Celebrate a work anniversary
  • Recognize a special life event such as a birthday, new home or new baby
  • And more!

Ovation Points

There are several ways to give and earn Ovation points:

  • Leaders and peers can recognize team members for demonstration of our OU Health values. Recognition from a leader comes with an award of 1,000, 2,000 or 3,000 Ovation points.
  • You automatically earn Ovation points for each of the following:
  • Welcome bonus the first time you login to the Ovation platform.
  • New hire onboarding award 90 days after your hire date.
  • Birthday recognition on your special day.
  • From time to time during certain company-wide celebrations or other events.

Tracking and Redeeming Your Ovation Points

  • Tracking your Ovation points is easy. Just login to the Ovation platform.
  • Redeem your Ovation points to purchase merchandise as well as physical or virtual gift cards. Login to the Ovation platform and select the Shopping Bag icon in the top navigation bar. Or in the left menu, select Shop > Gallery.
  • Ovation points do not expire. However, you will lose any points still in your Ovation account after you retire or leave OU Health.

OU Health Way Champion Award

The monthly OU Health Way Champion Award celebrates those who embody our OU Health values and make a strong positive impact on the lives of our patients and team members. Learn more about this award and think about nominating a colleague you feel demonstrates the OU Health Way.

About the Award

Two OU Health Way Champions are recognized each month: one physician and one team member. The monthly winners are recognized on The Hub and at Site Town Halls, Quarterly Leadership Forums and other local events.

Nomination and Selection Process

Anyone can nominate a colleague. The process is easy. Visit the OU Health Way page on The Hub and fill out the short nomination form. The due date is the third Friday of each month.

The selection committee reviews all nominations and decides on the winners by the 10th of the following month. The selection committee is a group of senior leaders.

Service Awards

To celebrate your tenure, our Service Awards recognize select milestones in your career with OU Health. You receive points and credits to redeem for merchandise, gifts and/or gift cards.

Benefits-eligible employees receive the following awards at each of these milestones:

Tracking and Redeeming Your Ovation Points and Service Milestone Credits

Login to the Ovation platform at any time to track and/or redeem your Ovation points and/or service milestone credits.

Anyone can nominate a colleague. The process is easy. Visit the OU Health Way page on The Hub and fill out the short nomination form. The due date is the third Friday of each month.

Choose from a variety of merchandise, gifts and gift cards:

  • Ovation points: You can redeem these points for merchandise as well as physical or virtual gift cards.
  • Service milestone credits: Each service milestone credit is linked to a choice of gifts related to the milestone level.
  • Retirement award: You’ll receive an email to prompt you to login to the Ovation platform and select your retirement gift. You must make the election within 30 days of your termination date.

Ovation points and service award credits do not expire. However, you will lose any points/credits still in your Ovation account after you retire or leave OU Health.
